TruBrief is a news aggregation application operated by Tru-Resolve LLC ("Company," "we," "us"). TruBrief collects publicly available news articles via RSS feeds, generates AI-powered summaries, and presents them to users in a personalized format. TruBrief does not produce original journalism and is not a news publisher.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/UK) to use TruBrief. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
To access certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported third-party sign-in provider (Google, Apple). You are responsible for:

TruBrief offers two tiers:
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You can cancel at any time; your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial periods except where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Price changes will not take effect until your next renewal date.
We may offer a free trial period for TruBrief Pro. If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly disclosed before you provide any payment information. At the end of the trial, your payment method will be charged the applicable Pro subscription rate unless you cancel before the trial ends.
All articles, images, and original content displayed in TruBrief remain the exclusive property of their respective publishers and journalists. TruBrief displays brief AI-generated summaries and links to original sources. We do not claim ownership of any third-party content.
Full credit and attribution belong to the original creators. By using TruBrief, you agree to respect all applicable copyrights and not to reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit third-party content accessed through the app.
The TruBrief application, design, logo, and proprietary features are owned by Tru-Resolve LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the TruBrief app without our express written permission.

TruBrief is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
News summaries are generated by AI and may contain errors. Always refer to the original source for matters requiring accuracy. Market data and weather information are for informational purposes only and should not be used as the sole basis for financial or safety decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tru-Resolve LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use TruBrief, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of TruBrief shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $10 if you are a free user).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tru-Resolve LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of TruBrief; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third party's rights.
TruBrief integrates with third-party services (Supabase, Groq AI, Google Gemini, weather providers, Stripe). Use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of those services.
TruBrief may display links to third-party websites (original article sources). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
You may stop using TruBrief and delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 15 survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by in-app notice or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of TruBrief after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Tru-Resolve LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
You and Tru-Resolve LLC agree to resolve disputes individually — no class actions or representative proceedings.
