TruBrief is a news aggregation application operated by Tru-Resolve LLC ("Company," "we," "us"). TruBrief collects publicly available news articles via RSS feeds, generates AI-powered summaries, and presents them to users in a personalized format. TruBrief does not produce original journalism and is not a news publisher. All article content remains the property of its original publishers.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/UK) to use TruBrief. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
To access certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported third-party sign-in provider (Google, Facebook). You are responsible for:
You may not create accounts for others without their permission, create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, or misrepresent your identity.
TruBrief offers two tiers of access:
Subscription billing. TruBrief Pro is available as a paid monthly subscription purchased through the Google Play Store. All billing is handled entirely by Google Play. The subscription price will be clearly displayed before purchase. By subscribing, you authorize Google Play to charge the applicable fee to your payment method on file.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Google Play account will be charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Free trial. If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. After the trial ends, your subscription begins and your payment method is charged automatically unless you cancel before the trial period expires.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account (Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions → TruBrief). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You will retain Pro access until the period you paid for ends. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Refunds. Refunds for in-app purchases are governed by Google Play's refund policy. We do not control the refund process — all refund requests must be submitted through Google Play. If a paid plan is introduced and you are an active paying subscriber at the time of any material feature reduction, we will provide a prorated credit or refund upon request to support@tru-resolve.com.
We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice to subscribers.
Article summaries, key points, and digest content within TruBrief are generated by automated AI systems. These summaries are provided for convenience only and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You agree that:
Market data (stock prices, indices) and weather information displayed in TruBrief are sourced from third-party providers and are for informational purposes only. This data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Nothing in TruBrief constitutes financial advice. Do not make investment decisions based solely on data displayed in this app. Tru-Resolve LLC is not liable for any losses arising from reliance on market or weather data provided through the service.
All articles, images, and original content displayed in TruBrief remain the exclusive property of their respective publishers and journalists. TruBrief displays brief AI-generated summaries and links to original sources. We do not claim ownership of any third-party content.
The TruBrief application, design, logo, and proprietary features are owned by Tru-Resolve LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the TruBrief app without our express written permission.

TruBrief is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tru-Resolve LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising from: (a) your use of or inability to use TruBrief; (b) any content obtained through the service; (c) unauthorized access to or alteration of your data; or (d) any other matter relating to the service.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from these Terms or your use of TruBrief shall not exceed the greater of: (i) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (ii) ten US dollars ($10.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tru-Resolve LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of TruBrief; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third party's rights; or (d) any content you submit or actions you take through the service.
TruBrief integrates with third-party services including Supabase, Groq, Google (Firebase and Gemini), Meta (Facebook Login), Tomorrow.io (weather), and RevenueCat (subscription management via Google Play Billing). Use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the practices, availability, or content of those third-party services.
TruBrief displays links to original news articles on third-party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability.
You may stop using TruBrief and delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us at support@tru-resolve.com. If you have an active Pro subscription, canceling your account does not automatically cancel your Google Play subscription — you must cancel that separately through Google Play. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice, at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections 7, 10, 11, 12, and 16 of these Terms survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by in-app notice or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of TruBrief after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service before the effective date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Tru-Resolve LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of TruBrief shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
Class action waiver: You and Tru-Resolve LLC each agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action or proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim must be severed from arbitration and brought in court, with all remaining claims continuing in arbitration.
Opt-out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@tru-resolve.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
